ROV

Mr. Kenney’s ROV (Remotely Operated Vehicle) class competed in a regional competition last weekend against teams from Taholah, Forks, and Quileute. The students delivered an impressive performance, bringing home several awards. The veteran team Aquatics Anonymous—comprised of Kole Calloway, Adam Sansom, and Ethan Butler—secured a strong second-place finish, showcasing their experience and technical skill.

The rookie team Octonaughts, made up of Addison Nelson, Mason Pope, Otto Merrill, and Jordan Lewis, earned the Top Presentation Award, impressing the judges with their clarity, creativity, and communication.

The Spectral Submariners—Brennan Lozier, Duncan Gage, Remi Bruce, and Leo Silva—were honored with the MacGyver Award for their exceptional perseverance. They worked tirelessly for six consecutive hours troubleshooting a challenging issue with their robot, showing off their problem-solving skills and determination.

In recognition of his dedication and guidance, Mr. Kenney was awarded Mentor of the Year—a well-deserved honor that reflects the impact he has made on his students and the program.

Congratulations to all the teams and individuals for their outstanding efforts and achievements this year!
